Who we Are

Over the past 18 months a group of committed organizations drawn from UN agencies, INGOs and private sector have been exploring the potential of establishing a Humanitarian Private Sector Platform for East Africa.

 

What's the need?

over the past decade, the private sector has increasingly been recognized as a major stakeholder in multiple aspects of humanitarian action. Simultaneously, there has been a move towards market-linked forms of humanitarian assistance which work with local enterprises...

Our Objectives

Effective information management, documentation of best practices, provide room for intentional growth of strategic long-term partnerships - this includes strategic linkages with EA Governments’ and UN Cluster coordination systems
